A Court of Inquiry to probe the case of a Colonel having sex with a female employee in his office was ordered after two Army jawans of an infantry battalion filmed the act.
The incident came to light when the soldiers wrote to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh about it.
In their letter, two soldiers of 25 Rajputana Rifles wrote about the alleged victimisation they were undergoing for exposing the deeds of the Colonel. They wrote that they made the video to teach the Colonel a lesson as they were being mistreated.
The video clip was filmed when the Colonel was stationed in Abohar, Punjab. The Colonel has since retired. However, the inquiry will go ahead under the rules and regulation of the Army. The inquiry will also look into the alleged blackmailing of the Colonel by the two soldiers.
