Veteran journalist and columnist TVR Shenoy died on Saturday evening in Manipal.

Shenoy had served as the Editor of THE WEEK Magazine and Sunday Mail and held various posts in Indian Express and Malayala Manorama.

In a career that spanned for five decades, Shenoy had contributed to several national and international newspapers on issues ranging from national politics, economy, social issues and international affairs.

The nation had honoured him by awarding the Padma Bhushan award in 2003.
