The much-anticipated sequel to Ranveer Singh's spy drama Dhurandhar has finally reached movie screens, and the reactions are wild. Dhurandhar: The Revenge, or simply Dhurandhar 2, has left netizens divided, as one section finds it "another propaganda movie" aligning with the incumbent Indian government. However, even these naysayers seem to have no negative remarks regarding the technical brilliance and performances throughout the Aditya Dhar movie.
Reports claimed that by 7 am, Dhurandhar 2 had raked in a little over ₹55 crore in net domestic collection, according to early estimates by Sacnilk. This includes close to ₹44 crore it made on preview day.
In an early review, industry tracker Taran Adarsh stated that the movie delivers on every front—"scale, drama, emotions, action, performances and impact."
He said the movie lives up to expectations, as the director has returned with a "vision that is bigger, sharper and far more ambitious."
According to the reviewer, the movie is "tightly written, fast-paced and loaded with goosebumps-inducing moments", and the climax is "explosive, emotional and immensely satisfying."
"Beneath the spectacle lies a powerful story of courage, resilience, revenge and justice – elements that linger long after the screening ends," he wrote in a social media review.
