As with the teaser release of the first part, the makers of Dhurandhar Part 2 unveiled the first-look footage of the following instalment on Tuesday at 12:12 pm. The teaser is the same one as the one attached to the end credits of the first instalment. Watch the teaser below:
Part 2 will explore the backstory of Ranveer Singh's character Hamza Ali Mazari / Jaskirat Singh Rangi before he turned a spy and infiltrated Pakistan and unleashed chaos in the center of the Lyari underworld.
Directed, written and co-produced by Aditya Dhar, the combined Dhurandhar films are bankrolled by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios — both written and directed by Aditya Dhar. Aside from Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan, the follow-up is expected to feature Akshaye Khanna as well since the story switches between different timelines.
The second chapter is set to release on March 19, 2026. The details of the film's overall duration are yet unknown. The first chapter had a total duration of 214 minutes. Part 2 is expected to have a similar length.
The technical team comprises cinematographer Vikash Nowlakha, editor Shivkumar V. Panicker, and composer Shashwat Sachdev.
Nearly two months after its blockbuster theatrical release and run, Dhurandhar Part 1 was released on Netflix on January 30.
