'Border 2' Day 7 Box Office Collection: Sunny Deol war drama to cross Rs 300 crore mark in first week

Till Day 6, 'Border 2' minted Rs 295.1 crore worldwide, including Rs 255.1 crore in gross domestic collection and Rs 40 crore in overseas box office

Border 2 opened with a bang on its opening weekend and is now set to cross the Rs 300 crore mark in worldwide collections on Day 7.

Till Day 6, Border 2 minted Rs 295.1 crore worldwide, just a little less than Rs 5 crore to enter the Rs 300 crore club, reports Sacnilk. This included Rs 255.1 crore in gross domestic collection and Rs 40 crore in overseas box office.

In net domestic collection, Border 2 raked in Rs 6.79 crore on Day 7 till 7 pm, according to Sacnilk.

On the opening day, the war drama bagged Rs 30 crore in net domestic collection. During the weekend, the collection rose to Rs 36.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 54.5 crore on Sunday.

With Monday being Republic Day, the net India collections rose to Rs 59 crore. However, the earnings dropped the following two days, with Border 2 earning Rs 20 crore on Day 5 and Rs 13 crore on Day 6.

The war drama is directed by Anurag Singh and produced jointly by JP Films and T-Series. Besides Sunny Deol, the ensemble cast includes Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana and Mona Singh.

Earlier, THE WEEK reported that Border 2 has turned out to be Dosanjh's highest grossing movie all time in the first week itself.
