'Vrusshabha' release update: Mohanlal's multilingual fantasy action epic to be out on THIS date

Co-produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, the movie directed by Nanda Kishore features Mohanlal in dual roles, alongside Shanaya Kapoor, Ch Chandrakanth, and others

Mohanlal has announced the release date of his upcoming big-budget multilingual film Vrusshabha. On his social media handles, the actor shared a new poster of the movie, with the caption: "The ground shakes. The sky burns. Destiny has chosen its warrior. #Vrusshabha arrives on 6th November!"

The makers had originally planned it as a Diwali release.

Early this year, Mohanlal had updated on the shoot completion. In a note, he had thanked the film's director Nanda Kishore for making an "epic action entertainer that will leave you on the edge of your seat" and for his "brilliance" that turned "every challenge into a triumph" and its crew for their efforts.

"This isn’t just a movie—it’s an EPIC Action Entertainer that will leave you on the edge of your seat! Huge thanks to our visionary writer and director, Nanda Kishore, whose brilliance turned every challenge into a triumph, and to the incredible crew who gave their all to make this happen," the actor wrote then.

Aside from Mohanlal, who plays dual roles named Vrusshabha and Viswambhara, the fantasy epic also features Shanaya Kapoor, Ch Chandrakanth, Mahendra Rajput, Ramachandra Raju, Ragini Dwivedi, and Neha Saxena, among others.

Santhosh Thundiyil is handling the camera while KM Prakash works on the editing. Devi Sri Prasad is the film's music composer.

Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms is one of the producers.

Mohanlal was last seen in Sathyan Anthikad's Malayalam entertainer Hridayapoorvam, co-starring Malavika Mohanan. He also made a special appearance in Vishnu Manchu's mythological movie Kannappa.
