A day after Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra broke the lifetime worldwide box office collection of Empuraan, the Kalyani Priyadarshan has bagged Rs 100 crore in Kerala box office.
Thudarum was the only film to enter Rs 100 crore club in Kerala box office. On Day 24, the Dominic Arun directorial bagged Rs 2.7 crore. This is the highest fourth Saturday collection in Kerala, beating Rs 2.2 crore record by the movie, 2018.
While Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra and Empuraan are the only Malayalam movies to rake in Rs 250 crore worldwide, Manjummel Boys and Thudarum are part of the Rs 200 crore club. 2018, Aadu Jeevitham and Aavesham have earned more than Rs 150 crore while Pulimurugan, Premalu and Lucifer have entered the Rs 100 crore club.
The total domestic gross collection of Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra was reported to be 156.55 crore nationally. Besides Rs 100.35 crore in Kerala, this includes Rs 20 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 14.42 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together, Rs 13.58 crore in Karnataka and Rs 8.2 crore in the Rest of India screens.
In total domestic net collection, Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra collected Rs 3.25 crore on September 20. This included Rs 2.65 crore in Malayalam, Rs 50 lakh in Tamil and Rs 5 lakh in Telugu and Hindi each. In total, the domestic net collection of the superhero movie was recorded at Rs 133.75 crore.
