Fans of Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR have been waiting with much excitement for 'War 2', and with just hours to go before the release, the wait is getting excruciating. There is much hype around the film, a sequel to the 2019 hit 'War', as it marks the Bollywood debut of Jr NTR.
The film is expected to have a bumper opening, although it is facing stiff competition from Rajinikanth's 'Coolie,' which reportedly has stronger advance bookings.
Wishing both the films the very best, Tollywood actor Nani wrote in a X post, “I am sure Taarak will ace it along with Hrithik sir like he always does.”
Meanwhile, Hrithik and Jr NTR requested fans and cine-goers to avoid posting spoilers about the film.
"When #War2 begins, your mission is to keep the secrets safe! Say no to spoilers," both the actors said in their social media posts.
Actor Manoj Manchu said it is a "historic day for Indian cinema" as both Coolie and War 2 are releasing together.
Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel said in a tweet that there is strong bookings for the movies across Telugu states "purely on the strength of Jr NTR's stardom."
