Emily in Paris - Season 2: Netflix

Release date: December 23

The first season followed the protagonist Emily trying to find her feet in a foreign city as she juggled her career, new friendships and love life. The upcoming chapter will see Emily "immerse herself more in French culture". The new season also goes a step ahead in the evolution of Emily's character: from 'a fish out of water' to a woman who embraces French culture, something the makers always wanted to explore, actress Lily Collins had said.

Minnal Murali: Netflix

Release date: December 24

Set in the 90s, Minnal Murali revolves around the life of an ordinary man who gets superpowers after being struck by lightning. Tovino Thomas teams up with director Basil Joseph for the second time after the wrestling-based drama Godha. The film also stars Aju Varghese, Harisree Ashokan, Baiju Santhosh, Bijukuttan and Guru Somasundaram.

Atrangi Re: Disney plus Hotstar

Release date: December 24

The romantic-musical drama, directed by Aanand L. Rai, stars Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan in the lead. Akshay Kumar features in a special role. Atrangi Re will feature music by A R Rahman with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil.

Satyameva Jayate 2: Amazon Prime Video

Release date: December 24

A sequel to his 2018 hit of the same name, the film features John Abraham in three roles– of a farmer-father and his twin sons – a cop and a politician. The film had released in theatres in November

The Silent Sea: Netflix

Release date: December 24

This Korean sci-fi thriller series is directed by Choi Hang-yang. During a perilous 24-hour mission on the moon, space explorers try to retrieve samples from an abandoned research facility steeped in classified secrets, reads the show’s synopsis.
