Are Kerala roads unfit for Lamborghini? Prithviraj yet to take his car to his mom's house

The actor has paid a whopping Rs 45 lakh as road tax for his brand new sports car

Prithviraj has not been able to visit his mother at his ancestral home in Thiruvananthapuram in his Lamborghini yet

Young superstar Prithviraj is known for his love of wheels. When the actor recently added a Lamborghini Huracan and paid a whopping 45 lakhs rupees as road tax for his brand new sports car it made splutters on the media.

However, the actor has not been able to visit his mother at his ancestral home in Thiruvananthapuram in his Lamborghini yet. Prithviraj’s mother, actor Mallika Sukumaran revealed the reason: “Indrajith brought his new car to this home. Even Prithviraj’s Porsche Turbo came. But Prithvi has not yet brought his Lamborghini here because of the bad state of the road.”

“I asked him the other day why he didn’t bring the Lamborghini here and he said, ‘First you try to get this road repaired,’” said Mallika Sukumaran.

Mallika said that the road in front of their house was good early and even mini buses plied on it. But now the road is in a bad state. She added that a mass petition signed by every resident in the locality has been submitted to the authorities imploring them to take the necessary steps. She expressed hope that the road would be repaired soon as the MLA and the councilors have promised them to do the needful this time.

Referring to the driving skill of her two sons Mallika Sukumaran preferred her elder son Indrajith to Prithviraj behind the wheels. “Both Indran and Prithvi drive very well. But I am more comfortable when Indrajith is driving. Prithvi drives really fast. When I ask him to slow down he says that he raises speed only when the road is clear.

The situation in Kerala is different. We may drive carefully, obeying rules. But it is unlikely that other drivers too do the same. We have no idea how a vehicle from the opposite side is coming,” said Mallika.
