2018 Suzuki GSX-S750 open for booking; all you need to know

Suzuki GSX-S750, showcased at the Auto Expo 2018, is set to be launched in India

Suzuki bike dealers have started taking booking for the latest addition Suzuki GSX-S750.

The middle-weight sub 1000 CC segment motorcycle, taking a cue from Suzuki GSX-S1000, is the second knocked down bike to be built by Suzuki in India after the Hayabusa. Delivery for the locally assembled bike is set to begin within a fortnight.

Suzuki GSX-S750 is powered by 749cc, inline four-cylinders, liquid-cooled engine that generates a peak output of 114 hp at 10,500 rpm and an extreme torque of 81 Nm at 9,500 rpm. Paired with its six-speed transmission, the K5 generation GSX-R engine architecture ensures Suzuki GSX-S750 a smooth ride.

Suzuki GSX-S750, showcased at the Auto Expo 2018, was introduced in the international markets last year.

The bike has a length of 2125 mm, a width of 785 mm and a wheelbase of 1455 mm. The seat has been set at a height of 820mm. Suzuki GSX-S750 allows a ground clearance of 135 mm.

With a kerb weight of 215kg, Suzuki GSX-S750 is 28kg heavier than the Triumph and 5 kg than Kawasaki Z900.

The suspension system that assures comfortable support even on rough tracks consists of a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear and 41 mm USD forks by Kayaba at the front. The front forks can be adjusted for preload as well as compression.

GSX-S750 has solid brakes with twin disc brakes on the front along with a single disc brake at the rear.

The three-mode traction control gives the bike a smooth ride on all kinds of roads. One is for wet and slippery, the second one for the common road and third is for fast and sporty ride. The three-mode advanced traction control system coupled ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) provide maximum safety to the biker. There is also an option to disengage the whole traction control system.

Added to that, the Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S21 tyres give a safe and smooth ride to the bike.

The LED display provides all info at a quick glance to the rider.

Suzuki GSX-S750 has been provided with a maintenance-free battery, 10-spoke cast aluminum wheels, black finish aluminum hand and foot controls that make the rider feels more confident.

Suzuki GSX-S750, available in three colours—Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Mira Red.

The price tag of Rs 7.9 lakh (on-road price in Delhi) gives GSX-S750 an edge over its nearest competitors Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple, Aprilia Shiver 900 and the Ducati Monster 797.
