Chhattisgarh CoBRA commando injured in IED blast in Bijapur

     Bijapur, Jun 3 (PTI) A commando of the Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) was injured when a pressure improvised explosive device (IED) planted by naxals exploded in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district on Friday, police said. <br>        The blast occurred around 1 pm in the forest of Budgicheru village under Tarrem police station limits, where a team of the 210th battalion of Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) was out on an anti-naxal operation, a senior official said.<br>        The patrolling team was cordoning off the area, when jawan Niranjan Paswan stepped on the connection of the IED device, triggering the blast, he said.<br>        Paswan sustained minor injuries on his left leg and was shifted to Basaguda hospital, from where he will be airlifted to Raipur for further treatment, the official said.<br>        A search operation is currently underway in the area, he added.
