Chennai, Mar 24 (PTI) Well-known Carnatic musician Bombay Jayashri Ramnath has undergone a surgical procedure for an aneurysm while touring the United Kingdom, and requires rest for a couple of days, her family here said on Friday.
    The Padma Shri awardee had been in the UK to perform concerts.
    "Bombay Jayashri had a health set back in the United Kingdom where she is currently touring for her concerts. She underwent a surgical procedure for an aneurysm. She is currently stable and recovering well, she requires rest for a couple of days," her family said in an update.
    A popular face in the world of Carnatic music, Jayashri has also rendered well-known Tamil film songs.
