Fan of BTS are on the moon after NASA picked three of the band's songs for a lunar mission. 'Mikrokosmos', '134340' and RM’s solo track 'Moonchild' will be part of 2024 lunar mission playlist.
'Moonchild' was written for all those who feel more comfortable under the moonlight, for night-owls and twilight-walkers. This song explores themes like loneliness, introspection and finding solace in the night.
'Mikrokosmos', the third track in 2019 album 'Map of the Soul: Persona', song is about the boundless potential of human beings. The song also has message that in every individual there is an entire universe. You are your own galaxy.
'134340' is about Pluto, a dwarf planet which was initially classified as the ninth planet of our solar system. This is a number about the darker aspects of love.
The 7-member band has been on a hiatus as some of the members are going through mandatory military enlistment. RM is the only K-pop solo artist whose song will be played during the voyage.
