The Mahakumbh has ended with over 64 crore people visiting Prayagraj to attend the world's largest gathering

The devout from across the country and other parts of the world took a dip in the belief it would cleanse their sins

On Mahashivratri which marks the last day of the Kumbh, over 11.66 lakh devotees immersed themselves in the Sangam

The mega religious carnival also saw a disaster, after a stampede killed at least 30 people and injuring scores others

The Mahakumbh mela area was designated a no-vehicle zone from 4 pm on Tuesday given the massive influx of devotees

The Maha Kumbh had six special bathing dates -- Paush Purnima, Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya, Basant Panchami, Maghi Purnima and Mahashivratri

Maha Kumbh also saw grand processions of Naga Sadhus and three 'Amrit Snans'.
