You can watch the Super Blue Moon on August 19 at 12.06 am in India when 10 per cent of the moon's nearside will be illuminated by the sun.

A Super Moon has two criteria to meet: The moon's orbit should be closer to our planet than usual as well as it should be a full moon.

A season Blue moon happens when there are four full moons in a single season and the third one will be considered as full moon. It has nothing to do with the colour blue.

So why you shouldn't miss it? According to Nasa, the next super blue moon might occur only by January 2037 | AFP, Reuters, AP
