Shikharas of the terminal building constructed in Nagara style architecture give the Ayodhya airport a spiritual ambience.

The interiors of the terminal building are adorned with local artifacts, paintings, and murals depicting the life of Lord Ram.

The new terminal has insulated roofing system, LED lighting, rainwater harvesting, landscaping with fountains, water and sewage treatment plant and solar power plant.

The airport terminal also has nine check-in counters, three conveyor belts and five X-BIS machines.
