This car is not a successor to the R8 but a new limited-edition offering from the German automaker with just 499 units being built. It is built on the same platform as the Temerario, sharing the same chassis, engine, and gearbox.
It is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with 3 electric motors powered by a 7.3kWh battery. It produces a combined 1001 horsepower and is integrated with the infamous Quattro technology.
Audi has taken inspiration from F1 to design its active aero, the energy management system, brake-by-wire tech, etc.
Audi has used their space frame technology for its exterior components, which are made from carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP)
Audi has given the Nuvolari the design of a concept car with its sharp edges and straight lines, and even though it is not the R8’s (left) successor, the design is very much alike.
For the front fascia, they have given a small piano-black grill and huge air vents on both sides. They have given “pixel-like” LED lights with a large air duct in the bonnet.
The rear of the car is similar to Lamborghini’s Gallardo, with similar designs for the engine bay and taillights. It possesses the same high-mounted exhaust pipes as the Temerario, with air vents provided all around.
The interior has a very minimalist design with beige interiors in Alcantara and leather with separate digital screens for the infotainment unit and instrument cluster.
