Toyota Kirloskar Motors announced the price of the E3 (Top variant) of the Ebella at ₹23.60 lakh (ex-showroom) – ₹3 lakh higher than E-Vitara Alpha variant
The re-badged car made as per the 7-year-long partnership with Maruti Suzuki was launched in January and comes in 3 variants – E1, E2 and E3. Prices of the lower variants have not been announced yet
The car comes with 2 battery options – 49kWh and 61kWh, souced from BYD. Toyota offers its customers a Battery-as-a-Service option as well. The 49kWh battery gives a range of 440 km and produces 144 hp, while the 61kWh gives a range of 543 km and produces 174 hp. Both battery packs have the same torque output of 193 Nm
Toyota calls its redesigned front facia “hammerhead front expression” and it contains LED headlamps with DRLs, gloss black grill, bumper with functional air vents, and 18-inch alloys
The interior is similar to its counterpart, with a dual-tone black and brown interior, and gets a 10.1-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, 40:20:40 folding rear seats, 12-colour ambient lighting and a JBL sound system
Ebella is equipped with seven airbags, all-wheel disc brakes on all variants, a 360-degree camera and front parking sensors. Only E3 gets Level 2 ADAS
Toyota has provided an 8-year battery warranty and 60 per cent buyback guarantee for the Ebella
