The new facelift attempts to bridge the wide gap between the 2020-released 3-Door Thar and the 2024 Thar Roxx.
Prices start at Rs 9.99 lakhs for the RWD Diesel (offered only with an MT) and Rs 13.99 lakhs for the RWD Petrol (offered only with an AT).
The 4x4 versions are priced at Rs 14.69 lakhs for the Petrol MT and Rs 15.49 lakhs for the Diesel MT. The automatic variants are priced at Rs 16.25 lakhs and Rs 16.99 lakhs respectively.
Though the overall look of the Thar stays exactly the same, the grille and vertical slats now come in a new body colour.
The facelift now has a rear wiper/washer setup and a fuel filler door with an internal release, as compared to the key slot in the flap for the regular Thar.
The Thar facelift gets no headlight upgrades, though, which still leaves it behind the Roxx (that has LED lights).
As for the interior, there are now grab handles on the A-Pillar and a new, independently adjustable centre arm rest. The facelift also includes a new larger touchscreen infotainment setup and a rear parking camera.
