A Pakistani military helicopter crashed in Balochistan on Monday, killing all six soldiers on board, including two officers, the military said.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the crash occurred when the helicopter was on a flying mission near Khost in Harnai, Balochistan, Dawn reported.
The reason for the crash is being investigated. The martyred have been identified as follows: 39-year-old Major Khurram Shahzad (pilot), 30-year-old Major Muhammad Muneeb Afzal (pilot), 44-year-old Subedar Abdul Wahid, 27-year-old Sepoy Muhamad Imran, 30-year-old Naik Jalil and 35-year-old Sepoy Shoaib.
In August 2022, a military helicopter had gone missing with about 6 military personnel aboard. It was found in Musa Goth, Windar, Lasbela a day later. The personnel in the chopper were overseeing flood relief efforts in the southwest of the country, Geo TV reported.
