US President Joe Biden follows only one celebrity account on Twitter and that is of model, television personality and entrepreneur Chrissy Teigen. Teigen, who is married to musicians John Legend, reacted in amazement when she discovered that Biden’s @POTUS account is following her on Twitter. “OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!” She wrote in the micro-blogging site.
Teigen had innocently put out a request asking the current commander-in-chief for a follow. Teigen had been blocked from the @POTUS account by Trump after she responded, ‘lol nobody likes you,’ in 2017 as a reply to one of Trump’s tweets. Former president Trump has been known for tweeting controversial statements and being met with numerous trolls on Twitter.
Teigen shared a screenshot of Biden following her to her 13.5 million followers. Among the other White House-related accounts Biden’s @POTUS account follows include Vice President Kamala Harris, First Lady Jill Biden, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
In another tweet, she wrote, "my heart oh my god lmao I can finally see the president's tweets and they probably won't be unhinged.” "I should prob never tweet again,” she added.
Last year, showing support for the Harris-Biden ticket, Teigen and her husband John Legend attended a Philadelphia drive-in rally.
Ahead of the Biden-Harris inauguration, Teigen wrote on Twitter, “Today our great national f—up is over, but the shame will last forever. We can officially say Donald J Trump is the greatest at being the f—ing worst... History will not be kind to you, you absolute psychopath. But I never was anyhow."
