6 wounded in shooting at Chicago apartment complex

A woman was seen with a handgun, but it isn't clear whether or not she fired it

After a shooting that injured six people, a 23-year-old woman and 20-year-old man was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious conditions. The injured included three minors. The shooting took place at a South Side apartment complex.

The shooting that took place on Friday night, started at a gathering in an apartment, which later spilt into the hall. No immediate arrests were made, the police said.

The cause or circumstances that led to the shooting is still unknown. 

The 14-year-old girl suffered wounds to her back, shoulder, lower backside and leg, while the 23-year-old woman suffered wounds to her back, shoulder, head and stomach. 

A 20-year-old who suffered wounds to his face, chest and leg was listed in serious condition.

The shooting took place at Parkway Gardens housing complex and according to the police, a 23-year old woman was seen with a handgun. But it isn't clear whether or not she fired it.
