Merseyside Police in Liverpool, UK were shocked after a woman called them reporting a boa constrictor in her bathroom. The UK woman found the huge snake wrapped curled up in the sink.
The flabbergasted police officials said that neither the woman nor her neighbour knew how the snake had come from.
According to the police, Constable Eastwood, who knows snakes, approached it calmly, gave it a drink of water and coaxed it into a safe container.
The snake that is native to tropical North, Central, and South America has been temporarily re-homed.
After the police posted images of the snake on their Facebook page, one user commented, “I will have nightmares from seeing this.”
