Teenage boy Will Connolly came into the spotlight when he cracked an egg on right wing lawmaker Senator Fraser Anning at a news conference after Anning said letting "Muslim fanatics" migrate to New Zealand was the cause of the mosque shootings in March.

Ever since the controversial statement, Anning lost his seat in the parliament, whereas Connolly's fame on social media shot. Police however cautioned him over the incident, Connolly had set-up two pages on social media called GoFundMe, in order to cover legal expenses over egging the senator. These pages garnered much attention and he amassed quite a bit of money.

When Connolly got to know that he will no longer need money to go to court as the law firm acted pro bono for him, he decided to donate the amount, a whooping $100,000 to Christchurch victims.

"Finally!!! After a huge amount of red tape, $99,922.36 has today been transferred to the Christchurch Foundation and Victims Support," he said.

"To the victims of the Tragedy, I whole heartedly hope that this can bring some relief to you. Keep spreading the love."
