According to ABC news, police officials went to the Crocker's house after a tip that his daughter 14-year-old Mary Crocker had not been senn since October. The tipster also feared that she was dead.
Sheriff's deputies who went to Crocker's house to conduct a welfare check were 'led' to the graves by Crocker himself. The graves held the bodies of Elwyn Crocker Jr. and his sister Mary Crocker.
According to police, Elwyn Crocker Jr. apparently disappeared in November 2016, when he was 14. Not surprisingly, both the children were not reported missing.
Initially, the adults in the house had claimed that Mary was out of town with her mother. The police officers were able to determine that this was false information after a little bit of investigation. Some information revealed by Crocker led the investigators to search the grounds of the home and the two bodies of the kids were discovered.
