India-Australia series: Rohit, Ishant left out as BCCI announces Test, ODI, T20I squads

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squads for the upcoming tour of Australia. Team India will play four Test matches, three ODIs and three T20Is.

Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma, both of who sustained injuries during the ongoing IPL, were left out of the squads. The BCCI medical team will continue to monitor their progress, the release said.

The squads were selected by the All-India Senior Selection Committee, which met via video-conference today, BCCI said in a press release. Four additional bowlers—Kamlesh Nagarkotti, Kartik Tyagi, Ishan Porel and T. Natarajan—will travel with the Indian contingent.

The Indian team will travel to Sydney immediately after IPL ends on November 10.
