With US President Donald Trump set to visit Ahmedabad on February 24, all eyes are on the Sardar Patel Stadium or Motera Stadium, the world's largest cricket stadium that he will be inaugurating along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India took to Twitter earlier today to share a bird's eye-view photo of the stadium. “#MoteraStadium Ahmedabad, India Seating capacity of more than 1,10,000 World's largest #Cricket stadium,” read the caption.

With a seating capacity of 1,10,000, it will surpass the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia. Nearly 1.25 lakh people are expected to attend the inauguration of the stadium, which was built at a cost of Rs 700 crore and is spread over 63 acres.

According to reports, the Modi government is also planning an event along the lines of the 'Howdy, Modi' event that the two leaders addressed in Texas last year. The event is being referred to as Kem Chho, Trump (how are you, Trump).

Along with the main ground, the stadium will have two cricket grounds with small pavilion areas, indoor practice pitches, training centre and a 55-room club house, which will have an Olympic size swimming pool, badminton and tennis courts, squash arena, table tennis area and a 3D projector theatre. The complex will also have hockey and football grounds and a kabaddi area.
