Kings XI Punjab take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 28th match of IPL 2019 in Chandigarh on Saturday evening.
Both sides are in the lower quartet of the IPL points table, with Royal Challengers Bangalore being the lowest ranked. Kings XI Punjab have won four of their seven matches, while Royal Challengers Bangalore have lost all six games they have played.
For Kings XI Punjab, veteran opener Chris Gayle is in doubt for Saturday's match after experiencing soreness in his back in their previous game against Mumbai Indians on April 10. Mayank Agarwal, who missed the match with Mumbai Indians due to a finger injury, is expected to return for Kings XI Punjab.

On Friday, Royal Challengers Bangalore signed up South African fast bowling ace Dale Steyn as a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile, who is injured. However, Steyn is expected to be available to play only after April 15.
The Kings XI Punjab-Royal Challengers Bangalore match is scheduled to begin by 8pm on Saturday.
