England have recalled opener Keaton Jennings for the final Test of its disappointing tour of the West Indies, which starts at St Lucia on Saturday. The visitors are also worried about the availability of star all-rounder Ben Stokes.

England suffered humiliating losses in the Tests at Antigua and Barbados and was subject to its first series defeat against the West Indies in a decade.

Jennings had been dropped for the second Test in Antigua to make way for Joe Denly. Jennings has had a less-than-impressive Test career till date, crossing fifty runs just thrice in his 16 matches, at an average of less than 26.

While Denly has been retained in the side, wicket-keeper Ben Foakes has been dropped. Jonny Bairstow will don the gloves for the St Lucia Test.

England will be hoping Ben Stokes is fit to play after suffering a heel injury. Another injury worry for England is seam bowling all-rounder Christ Woakes, who has a knee injury.

Despite the series loss, England captain Joe Root insisted there was plenty to play for in the St Lucia Test. "There is an Ashes around the corner and it is an opportunity for those guys to show how good they are and put their hand up and put in some proper performances,” Root said.
