On Saturday, MS Dhoni became the fifth batsman to score 10,000 runs for India in One Day Internationals. Dhoni achieved the feat for India, in the first ODI against Australia.

When the last ball of the sixth over ended as a single, Dhoni completed the landmark run only achieved by four other Indians—Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly.

Dhoni had also achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the fastest wicketkeeper batsman to score 10,000 runs in ODI cricket.

Dhoni was back in the team for the ODI series after sitting out T20I series against West Indies and Australia.
