British media is rife with speculation over France World Cup star Paul Pogba's impending move from Manchester United to Barcelona. Pogba, it is said, is keen to leave behind the tumultuous relationship with current manager Jose Mourinho.

Pogba is believed to have agreed terms with Barcelona for a deal worth GBP 89.5 million (USD 115 million) over five years. The agreement could fetch Pogba a reported GBP 346,000 per week―which is almost twice as much as he earns now at United.

Pogba had moved to United from Juventus in 2016 for a record fee of GBP 89 million. At the moment, he earns GBP 180,000 at United and has demanded that the English club increase his pay by GBP 200,000 if they wanted him to stay.

Amidst rumours that Pogba sent a text to Ed Woodward, United's executive vice-chairman, that he be allowed to leave, the club has denied the claim. The Premier League transfer window is due to close tomorrow, but the Spanish league window is open for another month, and Pogba is reportedly keen to make the move.

Pogba and Mourinho have had a testy relationship since his move to United in 2016. The duo has faced off on more than one occasion over which position Pogba should play and, more recently, about his World Cup exploits.
