Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter today to accept India cricket captain Virat Kohli's fitness challenge and said that he will soon post his own fitness video.ย 

โ€œChallenge accepted, Virat! I will be sharing my own #FitnessChallenge video soon. @imVkohli #HumFitTohIndiaFit,โ€ the prime minister tweeted.

Virat Kohli on Wednesday had posted a video of himself doing 20 spider planks on social media in response to the challenge posed by Information and Broadcasting Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore.

Kohli went on to challenge his wife Anushka Sharma, former Indian cricket captain M.S. Dhoni and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On Tuesday, Rathore had posted a video of himself doing push-ups, asking people to post a video or photo of their workout and inspire friends and families to do the same. Apart from Kohli, badminton star Saina Nehwal and actor Hrithik Roshan were also challenged. #HumFitTohIndiaFit was trending as many others took up the challenge and posted their workout videos online.

Saina Nehwal and Hrithik Roshan too responded to the challenge with a video. While Saina is seen lifting weights, Hrithik rode a bicycle saying that is how he commutes to office every day.
