Redmi India conducts 5G trails in partnership with Jio

Redmi Note 11T 5G smartphone will be lauched in India on 30th November 2021

Prior to introducing 5G smartphone for the Indian market, Redmi India conducted 5G standalone lab trials for upcoming Redmi Note 11T 5G in partnership with Jio.

To verify the capability and performance of their upcoming device, the two companies conducted a 5G standalone lab trial, and tested the device through various scenarios, thereby ensuring enhanced 5G end-user experiences. 

Redmi India, a sub-brand of Xiaomi India, will launch Redmi Note 11T 5G smartphone in India on 30th November 2021. 

"Being one of the first devices under the Note Series having access to 7 bands, Redmi India is focused on providing users with a smoother, efficient, and powerful connection experience after 5G deployment at scale in India," Redmi India said.

The device, having 4 GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, comes as a rebadged version of the vanilla Redmi Note 11 which has been launched in China. The device has 33W fast charging support for 5000mAh battery. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.

Redmi Note 11T 5G has 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution which offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, 399 PPI pixel density and having Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Dual-camera setup at the back consist of a 50MP primary camera and a 8MP secondary lens. The front-facing camera is of 16MP. 

The key features of Redmi Note 11T 5G are: 5G connectivity support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

Redmi Note 11T 5G was utilised for rigorous lab trials where it achieved stellar results by attaining a high downloading speed, the company said. The encouraging results further demonstrates the readiness and capabilities of Redmi Note 11T 5G in bringing immersive and reliable 5G mobile experience to users. With support for 7 bands including SA:n1/ n3/ n5/n8/ n28/ n40/ n78 and NSA: n1/n3/n40/n78, the device offers improved performance to the users, said the statement.
