State Bank of India (SBI) is currently hiring for the position of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) in the Clerical Cadre, with a total of 8,540 vacancies available. Interested candidates can apply online until 7th December.
Applicants are required to apply for only one state vacancy and must possess proficiency in the official/local language of the respective state.
The salary for this position ranges from 17,900 to 47,920.
To be eligible for the role, candidates must hold a degree or its equivalent in any discipline. The age requirement is between 20 and 28 years as of 1st April 2023. Relaxation of five years is provided for Scheduled Category candidates, three years for OBCs, and ten years for differently abled individuals. Exemptions are also available for veterans.
The selection process consists of online preliminary and main exams. The preliminary exam, which lasts for one hour, will be conducted in January. It will consist of 100 objective questions covering English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability sections. The main exam, also objective in nature, will take place in February. Additionally, a language test will be conducted to assess the candidates' proficiency in the local language. However, those who provide proof (mark sheet/certificate) of having studied the local language up to Class 10th or Class 12th level will be exempted from this test.
Selected candidates will undergo a probation period of six months.
Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs 750, which can be paid online through debit/credit card or internet banking. However, no fee is applicable for Scheduled Category candidates, ex-servicemen, or differently abled individuals.
