Former PM Manmohan Singh admitted to hospital in Delhi

He reportedly had fever from Tuesday

Former prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was admitted to All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS), Delhi, on Wednesday evening.

The 88-year-old Congress Rajya Sabha MP reportedly had fever from Tuesday. He was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after he complained of weakness.

He has been admitted to the cardiology department of the hospital, and his condition is said to be stable. News18 reported that Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan followed up on the Congress leader's health condition and assured that he has been given all the possible care.

Earlier this year, the former prime minister had  tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi.
