The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed grief over killing of civilians in Kashmir.

The APHC in a statement said the killings are a norm in J&K for the last three decades. “Thousands of Kashmiris have been killed in casual manner with impunity,” the statement said.

It said the militarisation to repress is pursued as a state policy to handle a lingering conflict rather than seeking conflict resolution.

It said the APHC regrets and strongly condemns the killings.

It said the resolution of Kashmir issue through peaceful means is key to ending the bloodshed.

It said the APHC expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy with the bereaved family of Yasser Ali who was shot By CRPF in Anantnag on Friday, Supinder Kaur and Deepak Chan who were killed by militant group The Resistance Front (TRF) in Srinagar by militants in a school in Srinagar.

It said each and every life lost in the conflict matters equally.

It said no victim is seen through the religious prism as each and every one is equal and important part of our society.

“Irrespective of our faith all in this land have suffered and together all the people of JK Press for early resolution of the conflict”, it said
