A college youth on Friday stabbed his classmate to death in Pala, Kerala. The murder took place on the campus of St Thomas College.
Nithina, the victim, is a resident of Vaikom. Her classmate Abhishek had allegedly slashed her neck as she walked out of an exam hall. Police have taken the 21-year-old into custody.
"The incident happened in the afternoon. As per the preliminary information we have, the couple was earlier in a relationship. However, we are probing all angles," said the police.
According to OnManorama, the assailant used a paper cutter to attack her. The victim was immediately rushed to Marian Hospital but succumbed to her injuries on arrival.
