A candidate in the Bihar panchayat elections in Katihar district's Rampur panchayat chose to make a political statement in a unique way.
He arrived on a buffalo to file his nomination for the elections. A video of the incident has gone viral.
The candidate, Azad Alam, said he is a cattleman and came to the file the nomination on a buffalo as he is unable to afford petrol or diesel.

The Bihar panchayat elections will be held from September 24 to December 12 in 11 phases.
