Goa minister thanks Kerala health minister for supply of 20,000 litres of liquid oxygen

Goa on Sunday reported 951 COVID-19 cases, the highest in a single day

Even as Kerala continues to register record number of COVID-19 cases, the state has reached out to Goa with a helping hand, supplying 20,000 litres of liquid oxygen.

Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane took to Twitter to thank his Kerala counterpart K.K. Shailaja. "I extend my gratitude to Smt. @shailajateacher Madam, Hon Health Minister of Kerala for helping us with movement of 20,000 litres of liquid oxygen for COVID patients in the state of Goa,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Goa on Sunday reported 951 COVID-19 cases and 11 deaths, the highest in a single day, taking the tally and toll to 67,212 and 883 respectively.

So far, 59,277 people have recovered, including 531 on Sunday, leaving Goa with an active caseload of 7,052.

With 3,256 samples being examined on Sunday, the number of tests in Goa went up to 5,92,007.
