Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra accused the BJP of helping Sachin Pilot-loyalist MLAs, who were holed up at a resort in Manesar, Haryana, to move out through the back door when police arrived there.

He claimed that when Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group (SOG) team arrived at the resort on Friday evening, Haryana Police whisked away the legislators through the back door.

According to news agency ANI, the Congress leader said the Rajasthan SOG team was made to wait by the BJP government's Haryana Police until the MLAs who were inside the resort moved through a secret door.

As the team of SOG, deputed by Rajasthan Chief Mnister Ashok Gehlot, reached the entrance, they were stopped by over 50 Haryana cops who denied them entry on pretext of no knowledge about any operations. The arguments continued between both police teams for over one and half hours before the SOG was allowed to enter the resort

Further, Dotasra asked if the BJP is not involved in luring MLAs to destabilize the Ashok Gehlot government, why did the party create hurdles for the Rajasthan Police from accessing the resort and helped the MLAs to move out through a “secret door”.

He also attacked Pilot and the MLAs supporting him for reposing their trust in the police of BJP-ruled Haryana rather than the police of their own state.
