Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has written to the Ministry of Railways to provide 262 trains in the next four days to send migrants back to their home districts. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also requested the Centre to increase the number of trains from Delhi to send maximum migrants back to their native states.

“Around 65,000 people have been sent back to their homes until now. We are also seeking permission from other states to send migrants back to their hometowns. As soon as we get the permit, we are sanctioning trains for those states,” Sisodia said.
