An Intelligence Bureau staffer was on Wednesday found dead in northeast Delhi's riot-hit Chand Bagh area, officials said.
Ankit Sharma, who lived in Chand Bagh, may have been killed in stone pelting by a mob, officials said. A relative told Hindustan Times Ankit's body was found in a drain.
His body has been taken to the Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital for an autopsy. According to reports, Ankit was 26 years old and had been working as a security assistant with the Intelligence Bureau.

NDTV reported that Ankit was missing since Tuesday. NDTV reported that Ankit Sharma's father "accused supporters of an Aam Aadmi Party leader" of attacking his son and killing him.
NDTV reported his father told police Ankit had also been shot after being attacked by a mob.
