Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit his constituency, Wayanad in Kerala, from December 5 to December 7.

He will meet the family of snakebite victim Shehla Sherin, a 10-year-old girl who passed away last month after being bitten by a snake in her classroom at Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad.

Rahul had earlier written to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan about Shehla's death. "One of the oldest high schools in Sulthan Bathery, Sarvajana Higher Secondary School's crumbling infrastructure requires the urgent attention of the state government. The absence of a conducive learning environment demoralises students and parents alike," Rahul said in the letter.

He is also scheduled to inaugurate the Indira Gandhi memorial bus stand-cum-shopping complex at Edakkara in Malappuram and a cultural conference at Kodenchery. He will also be a part of a slew of other development activities like inaugurating a new block at the taluk hospital at Vythiri, and meeting a batch of 400 disaster management volunteers.

Rahul had last visited his constituency in August to review the flood situation, and also distributed relief materials.
