Prime Minister Narendra Modi's niece Damayanti Ben Modi was mugged by two bike-borne miscreants in New Delhi.

According to media reports, Damayanti Ben, who is the daughter of PM Modi's younger brother, filed a police complaint saying she was mugged outside Gujarati Samaj Bhavan in Delhi's Civil Lines.

She said she had reached Delhi from Amritsar on Saturday morning and had booked a room at Gujarati Samaj Bhavan. When she was near the gate of the hotel, the thieves snatched her handbag and made away with it.
