Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Thursday slammed his detractors who dubbed him 'anti-Hindu'.
He took to his Twitter handle to post pictures from his trip to a temple in Thiruvananthapuram with the caption, "At the Poonthura ShivaKshetram today, just before being accused of being anti-Hindu!"

In another tweet he can be seen performing rituals at the temple.

Tharoor also inaugurated the logo and website of Trivandrum Academy of Western Music along with state Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran.
He tweeted, "Inaugurated, w/Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran, the logo & website of the new Trivandrum Academy of Western Music http://trivandrumacademy.com TAWM will offer performances as well as instruction in technique to young musicians by 5 classical music teachers from the former USSR"

This comes after he was called 'anti-Hindu' for his comments on BJP's ideology.
Responding to the criticism on his 'Hindu Pakistan' comments, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Thursday said he was simply highlighting the BJP's ideology through his comment.
