BJP national president Amit Shah will take part in the two-day Chintan Shibir—the annual brainstorming session of Gujarat government—to be held at Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwavidya Pratishthanam (SGVP) on June 24, 25.

The sprawling SGVP complex is located on Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway.

State party president Jitubhai Vaghani said on Thursday that a roadmap will be chalked out to win all the 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat in 2019 elections, during the session. In 2014, when Narendra Modi was being projected as the prime ministerial candidate, the party had won all the 26 seats in the state.

Shah will visit his home state as part of his nation-wide tour.

According to Vaghani, the party leaders will also discuss organisational matters and various schemes of the state government
.

The June 24-25 session is to be preceded by a meeting of the party's state parliamentary board at the party's state headquarters in Gandhinagar on June 17 and 18.

He dismissed rumours about Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani's resignation. Without naming pro-quota agitation leader Hardik Patel, Vaghani said the Congress has lost faith in itself after losing elections for the sixth time and hence was sponsoring statements by others.

Patel had claimed on Thursday that Rupani had given his resignation at the cabinet meeting on Wednesday and that the new chief minister would be appointed in ten days.

The state party chief also expressed confidence that the BJP will win all the 26 seats in the 2019 elections and contribute to PM Modi's dream of 'new India'
