Prime Minister Narendra Modi had today accepted India cricket captain Virat Kohli's fitness challenge on Twitter and promised to post a video of his workout soon. What the prime minister may not have anticipated is the counter challenge from Rahul Gandhi.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi posed a challenge of his own asking the prime minister to take on the challenge of reducing the rising fuel prices and said he looked forward to the PM's response.
Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress will have a nationwide agitation against the rising prices and will force the government to bring it down.

Petrol and diesel prices have surged to a record high. According to reports, rising global crude oil prices along with the heavy taxes in India have caused the prices to surge recently. In Delhi, petrol costs Rs 77.47 rupees a litre and diesel Rs 68.53 a litre.
PM Modi's administration has been receiving heavy criticism over the rising prices. Rahul Gandhi's tweet was aimed at PM Modi's readiness in accepting the fitness challenge on Twitter.
On Wednesday, Virat Kohli had accepted Sports and Information and Broadcast Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore's fitness challenge on Twitter by doing 20 spider planks.
