Ahead of the crucial floor test on Saturday, the JD(S) MLAs have arrived at Le Meridien hotel in Bengaluru. Earlier in the day, Congress MLAs had arrived at Bengaluru's Hotel Hilton.

With this, it is assumed that the whole group of opposition MLAs belonging to the Congress-JD(S) post-poll coalition, who were taken away to Hyderabad on Friday, are back in Bengaluru. 

Two buses ferrying the Congress MLAs reached Bengaluru early morning on Saturday. The MLAs were transported to Hyderabad where they had been camping in two hotels to avoid any poaching bids.

The crucial floor test in the Karnataka state assembly that will determine chief minister B.S.Yeddyurappa and his government's fate will take place on Saturday at 4pm.

Though the legislators were prepared to stay in the city hotels for a few days, they all left in the night by road as the Supreme Court today ordered that a floor test be held in the Karnataka Assembly at 4 pm on Saturday to confirm whether newly-appointed BJP Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa enjoys a majority in the state.

"All the legislators left for Bengaluru by road at 10 pm," Vamshi Chand Reddy, Congress MLA in Telanagana, said.

Meanwhile, in the BJP camp, Yeddyurappa will leave for Shangri-La hotel at 9 am for the party legislature meeting. He will then leave for the Karnataka assembly with others. 

Earlier, JD(S) MLC Basavaraj said that as many as 36 legislators belonging to his party and 77 of the Congress were camping in the Hyderabad hotels. Though the legislators were prepared to stay in the city hotels for a few days, they all left in the night by road as the Supreme Court today ordered that the floor test.
