After becoming the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2026 in six days and achieving the milestone of the highest-grossing Suriya movie in the same time span, the RJ Balaji directorial has now reached the 100-crore net milestone in India.
Worldwide, the movie has collected Rs 175.96 crore in six days, as per Sacnilk box office figures. It is now on track to hit the 200 crore mark in another week. The six-day lifetime gross has made "Karuppu" tower way above his previous big-scale hits like "Singam 2" (Rs 136 crore lifetime), "Kanguva" (105 crore lifetime), and "Retro" (102 crore lifetime).
In terms of the domestic net total, "Karuppu" has beaten the previous holder of the same record ", Singam 2" (98 crore net), and other Suriya hits like "7 Aum Arivu" (89 crore net), "Kanguva" (82.65 crore net), and "Singam 3" (81 crore net).
Overseas too, "Karuppu" recorded Suriya's biggest opening weekend ever (grossing over Rs 42 crore in three days), driven heavily by massive traction in North America, the Middle East, and Malaysia. As per data gathered from various sources, its current international gross of Rs 54 has pushed the “Karuppu” past Suriya’s previous global career benchmarks.
When compared to recent big-budget Tamil entertainers, "Karuppu" has, in terms of worldwide total, outperformed Sivakarthikeyan's "Parasakthi" (Rs 87.00 crore worldwide total), "Thaai Kizhavi" (Rs 82.02 crore worldwide), "Youth" (Rs 81 crore), and Dhanush's "Kara" (60 crore).
Even on the weekdays, "Karuppu" has been maintaining a daily collection of above 10 crore. The India gross of “Karuppu” stands at Rs 121.96 crore on the sixth day.
